Production

Track every carousel from draft to published.

Open Production in the sidebar β€” a kanban board for every deck in your folder. Stages are stored in slides/.production-board.json (not in your screen files or in project.json).

Stages

StageMeaning
DraftStill shaping β€” not ready for formal review.
In reviewWalking screens with your assistant or a stakeholder.
ReadyEvery screen approved β€” OK to export.
PublishedYou already exported and posted manually (or archived after go-live).

Drag cards between columns as your process evolves. Moving a card to Published is just a marker you set β€” Casper does not post to social networks or know when you post; stages exist for your own tracking.

Card previews

Each card shows the first screen so you recognise the deck without opening it.

Click a card to open its action popover:

  • Previous stage / Next stage β€” move one step without dragging.
  • Edit β€” open publication metadata (channels, notes, published date).
  • Open deck β€” jump to the slide editor.

Publication metadata

Record where you plan to post and optional ops notes β€” useful for your own tracking, not for auto-posting.

  1. On Production, click a deck card.
  2. Choose Edit in the popover.
  3. In the dialog:
    • Check publish channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletter, etc.).
    • Set a primary channel if you use several.
    • Add notes (up to 2,000 characters).
    • When the deck is already in Published, you can set published date to now.

Save β€” metadata stays with the deck on this machine.

Workflow

  1. Iterate in Review and refine.
  2. Move to Ready when you sign off.
  3. Export, post manually, then Published.
